Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) is a non-profit showcase festival and music conference focused exclusively on European artists. Each year, ESNS brings together over 4,000 music professionals, including 400 international festivals and showcases. The festival presents around 350 European artists to a total audience of more than 40,000 visitors. This was during the corona pandemic, so everything had to be digital!
For ESNS and Annie Made It collaborated on creating all animated assets for ESNS and MMETA across social media, live events, video content (including .mogrt setups for editors), interactive media walls, and more. It was an intense production week, delivering a large volume of assets in close collaboration with the ESNS team. Working closely with Lisa Sportel, the designer behind the ESNS visual identity, I animated a wide range of materials. To streamline the workflow for the ESNS editing team, I also built multiple .mogrt files that allow editors to switch between all color combinations with a single click (since the identity had 6 color combinations to switch between)
Most of the work was shown during conferences, video’s, live shows and on television. Shown below is only 5% of the work that was done.
